Mazda Wants Zero Fatalities By 2040 – Autoline Exclusives

Is it possible to make cars so safe that no one gets killed in them? Mazda thinks so, and it’s setting a goal of no one getting killed in a Mazda by 2040. Jennifer Morrison the Lead Safety Advocate at Mazda explains how accident avoidance technology, like automatic braking and steering, stronger vehicle structures, and rigorous enforcement of keeping people from handling their phones while they drive, will get it to that goal.
