Stage 11 was cancelled after this high speed crash into the barrier, at WRC RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada – Rally de España 2022. There were no injuries in this rally crash, due to the safety features of modern rally cars. The WRC rally car was blocking the stage after the crash and the stage was cancelled for the rally drivers who had not started the stage.
Gus Greensmith was in 10th place in the rally when he crashed his M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1 car into the barrier on stage 11 / SS11 El Montmell 1
