Inspired by the Pierson Brothers 2D Coupe, Rod built the “2D Roadster” with a Lincoln Model K grill, 1937 LaSalle emblem, finned Buick drum brakes, Mack Truck lights, 2×4 steel frame, Ford banjo steering wheel, Steward Warner gauges, and a flathead Ford V8.
